Russian Science Citation Index is the project of the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU and Thomson Reuters for integration Russian journals to Web of Science, the leading world search platform for natural, social sciences and humanities.
652 prominent journals for inclusion in RSCI were selected by the specially created working group of scientists directed by Anatoliy Grigoriev, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Russian Academy of Sciences publishing council. As the majority of articles in RSCI are in Russian, each material is accompanied with a brief annotation and a list of key words in English. On request WoS users can order an article translation or use the standard services.
Russian Science Citation Index is available for registered users of WoS alongside with the other national science citation index databases: KCI Korean Journal Database , SciELO Citation Index as of 2014 and Chinese Science Citation Database as of 2008.
